We started off our women’s journey
in Liverpool with the Mossley Hill Ladies and now we are back to that great Northern
city of music, culture and football as we meet the Liverpool Feds.
The Feds play in the Women’s
Premier League Northern Division One (the same Division as our previous round
winners Brighouse Town).
Liverpool Feds were formed
in 1991 and originated from what is now Liverpool Hope University. In 1993 the Feds expanded to include a reserves
team, along with a girls and youth section.
Liverpool Feds are a good ‘Cup’
club as they have won the FA County Cup for the past 2 years in a row.
In Division one North,
Liverpool Feds are in 4th place with 13 points from 8 games whilst Brighouse
are in 2nd place with 21 points from 9 games.
This looks like two evenly matched
sides.
On Sunday 10th
November at 14:00 the GKA will travel 43.8 miles from Stockport Sports Village
to Jericho Lane Sports Hub for this tie…
It’s another GKA cracking
double header this weekend as we also have Ebbsfleet United V Notts County for
the men’s 1st Round on Saturday, at 15:00.
